Ritehaul Logistics, LLC ("Ritehaul," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit ritehaul.com or contact us about our drayage, transloading, and warehousing services, and how we use that information.
This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. If you have questions about your specific rights, consult an attorney.
Information we collect
We only collect information that you choose to share with us. When you submit our quote form or otherwise contact us, we collect:
- Your name — so we know who to follow up with.
- Your company name — so we can understand the shipper, broker, or freight forwarder we are quoting.
- Your email address — so we can send you a quote and any follow-up communication.
- Your phone number (optional) — so we can call you about urgent freight or clarify quote details.
- The message you send us — including freight details such as origin, destination, equipment type, volumes, and timing.
Our web servers also automatically log standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit) for security, anti-spam, and basic operational analytics.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your quote request or other inquiry, typically within one business day.
- Coordinate the drayage, transloading, or warehousing services you ask us to price or perform.
- Send you periodic updates about Ritehaul if — and only if — you opted in to marketing communications. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Maintain reasonable records for accounting, tax, and dispute purposes.
- Detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse of our forms.
We do not sell your information
Ritehaul does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not share your contact information with advertisers, data brokers, or unaffiliated marketers.
We share information only with the service providers we use to run our business — for example, our email and hosting providers — and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function for us. We may also disclose information when we are legally required to do so (for example, in response to a valid subpoena).
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to load the site, remember basic preferences, and measure aggregate site usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in your settings; doing so will not prevent you from using the site or submitting a quote.
Data retention
We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as they are useful to the customer relationship and to satisfy any legal, tax, or recordkeeping requirements. After that, we delete or anonymize the information.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us at any time to:
- See what information we have on file about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate;
- Delete your information, subject to any records we are required to keep; or
- Stop sending you marketing communications.
To make a request, email us at Compliance@ritehaul.com with a brief description of what you would like us to do. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adult shippers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our forms, contact us at Compliance@ritehaul.com and we will delete it.
Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or to comply with new legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when the most recent change was made. Material changes will be reflected on this page rather than sent to you individually.
Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
